Treasury bill rate declining

Sri Lanka’s weekly treasury bill auction saw the one year rate declining by 5 basis points from last week’s rate to stand at 10.52-pct.
Central Bank, which conducts the auction did not accept bids received for the three and the six month rates.
The auction has received a total of 24.6 billion worth of bids, while the Bank has only accepted Rs. 4.76 billion to settle Rs. 5 billion of maturing treasury bills.
