Sri Lanka Stock Down

Sri Lanka stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Information Technology, Plantations and Power & Energy sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Colombo, the CSE All-Share declined 0.14% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the CSE All-Share were Colombo City Holdings PLC, which rose 32.52% or 227.00 points to trade at 925.00 at the close. Meanwhile, PC Pharma PLC added 14.29% or 0.10 points to end at 0.70 and Tess Agro PLC was up 11.76% or 0.20 points to 1.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Office Equipment PLC, which fell 19.98% or 499.40 points to trade at 2000.00 at the close. Kalamazoo Systems PLC declined 18.41% or 559.70 points to end at 2480.00 and Indo Malay PLC was down 17.02% or 282.40 points to 1376.60.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombo Stock Exchange by 119 to 107 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Colombo City Holdings PLC rose to 3-years highs; up 32.52% or 227.00 to 925.00. Shares in PC Pharma PLC rose to all time lows; up 14.29% or 0.10 to 0.70. Shares in Tess Agro PLC  rose to 52-week highs; gaining 11.76% or 0.20 to 1.90. Shares in Indo Malay PLC fell to 52-week lows; falling 17.02% or 282.40 to 1376.60.
