Browns Investments PLC acquired a 51 percent stake of Green Paradise

Browns Investments PLC, a diverse conglomerate in Sri Lanka has acquired a 51 percent stake of Green Paradise, a luxury hotel in Dambulla in Central Sri Lanka for 500 million rupees.

Green Paradise owns and operates a 67-villa luxury hotel in Dambulla, the heart of the Cultural Triangle in Central Sri Lanka.

The hotel, built on an eco-green concept offers 67 luxury villas nestled in the jungle with easy access to the nearby historical sites like the Dambulla Rock Temple, Sigiriya Rock fortress and the ancient cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa as well as a gateway to the East Coast beaches of Sri Lanka.

The construction of the hotel was completed last year. It has 40 suites, 10 garden suites and 17 deluxe rooms, the company said.

The hotel also has two restaurants, bar with a separate bar lounge, swimming pool with bar, gym, spa center, shopping arcade, wi-fi and internet connectivity among other amenities.
