Colombo Stock Exchange has appointed Mr. Rajeeva Bandaranaike as its new CEO, effective from 14th November, 2013.
Bandaranaike, once held the positions of Head of Clearing and Settlement and Head of Business Development of the CSE, during a 19 year career at the Colombo bourse, which ended in 2011.
He is currently functioning as the CEO of Orient Finance PLC and also worked as the CEO of Peoples Merchant Bank PLC from July 2011 to May 2012.
Rajeeva, has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), Australia and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the Open University of Sri Lanka.
