The market ended flat for the day on the back of Rs.665mn turnover. Foreigners were net buyers for the day while foreign participation accounted for 48% of the day's turnover. Crossing were seen in NDB, Aiken Spence and JKH.
All Share Price Index gained by 0.05% to close at 5986 while the liquid S&P 20 index gained by 0.06% to end the day at 3379.
Volumes increased by 25.7% to 16mn, whilst turnover increased by 246.9% to Rs.665mn
The gainers list was led by Touchwood and Amf Co lotd while Office Eqipment and Beruwala walkinn led the losers.
