TB rate stood

Sri Lanka’s weekly treasury bill auction held today saw the three month rates remaining flat same as the last weeks rate, while the six month and the one year rates declined marginally.

Accordingly, the three month rate stood at 8.63-pct same as the last week’s rate, while the one year yield declined by 5 basis points from last week’s rate to stand at 10.59-pct.

The six month rates declined by just two basis points from last week’s rate to stand at 9.66-pct.

The Central Bank has accepted Rs. 17.42 billion worth bids out of a total bid amount of Rs. 40.64 billion received for the auction to settle Rs. 10 billion of maturing treasury bills.
