Market closed down today on the back of 256Mn turnover. Foreigners were net buyers for the day while foreign participation accounted for 20% of the day's turnover. There were crossings in JKH and HNB assurance.
Sri Lanka's Softlogic gets burger King franchise
Sri Lanka's softlogic Holding PCL had got into a franchise agreement to set up Burger King branded restaurents within a few months, the group had inked a deal with BK asiapac of Singapore which is a unit of US based burger king worldwide to build and own Burger King restaurants in Sri Lanka and to develop and operate franchise outlets. SHL is currently trading at a trailing 12 month PER of 24.3x
